We are currently seeking a Texas-based Senior account manager to lead and grow our portfolio across key Texas retailers including:

  • Whole Foods Market
  • H-E-B
  • Central Market
This is not a traditional account management role.

We are looking for someone who understands the Texas retail landscape deeply, has strong retailer and distributor knowledge, and can help strategically grow brands within one of the most important grocery markets in the country.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, is highly relationship-driven, and understands both the strategic and operational side of retail growth.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong buyer and category manager relationships across Texas retailers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Jade Street brands and retailer teams
  • Manage retailer communication, follow-ups, and strategic account development
Sales & Distribution Growth
  • Drive new item authorizations, distribution gains, and expansion opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for line reviews, void fills, and promotional activity
  • Develop strategic sales plans to support long-term brand growth
Promotional & Retail Strategy
  • Build and manage promotional calendars and retailer programming
  • Analyze promotional effectiveness and support brand ROI initiatives
  • Work closely with brands on pricing, assortment, and retail positioning
Distributor & Operational Management
  • Work closely with distributors including UNFI and KeHE where applicable
  • Support onboarding, execution, and retailer-specific processes
  • Maintain trackers, retailer updates, and sales reporting internally

Qualifications

  • Must currently live in Texas
  • 5+ years experience in CPG sales, brokerage, retail buying, or account management
  • Existing relationships with Whole Foods, H-E-B, Central Market, Brookshire Grocery, or Brookshire Brothers strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of grocery distribution with UNFI / KEHE , category reviews, promotions, and retail strategy
  • Experience working with emerging brands preferred
  • Highly organized with strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple brands and priorities simultaneously
