THE OPPORTUNITY As the Senior Analyst, Regional Outbound Logistics, you will support all aspects of distribution and logistics service levels for Chipotle restaurants. You will play a critical role in problem‑solving and advancing initiatives related to outbound logistics, including improving DC inventory compliance, restaurant service levels and optimizing final‑mile delivery size and frequency. In this role, you will support the Outbound Logistics Manager by ensuring inventory within distribution centers meets Chipotle’s guidelines, managing and reviewing daily low‑stock and out‑of‑stock items, and maintaining strong relationships with the distribution planning teams. LOCATION This position will be based in our Newport Beach, CA office 4 days per week (with work from home on Friday). Remote work is not available for this role. WHAT YOU’LL DO Oversee the stock low/out process for the assigned portfolio of distribution centers (DC), collaborating closely with DC teams to review inventory levels and resolve discrepancies, serving as the primary point of contact between the DC, Procurement, and Inbound Logistics for expediting or deferring supplier purchase orders (POs). Serve as the key liaison between Planning and DC teams to maintain Days of Supply (DOS) targets and provide feedback on CMG forecast guidance ensuring DC compliance with recommended DOS levels. Continuously monitor inventory levels to proactively identify and address supply gaps to ensure excellent service to restaurants and understand DC methodology for DOS calculations to minimize data discrepancies. Create, maintain, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across assigned distribution centers. Prepare and support weekly Supply Chain service meeting and DC QBRs. Establish proper metrics to analyze, evaluate and make recommendations in partnership with Regional Logistics Leader on optimized routing, delivery frequency, and drop sizes. Lead store resupply efforts during crisis situations (e.g., hurricanes, snow/ice events, supply shortages or stoppages). Resolve store delivery related issues (missing/damaged item, late delivery, rejected FQR) and coordinate re-supply efforts with distribution centers and inbound logistics team. Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Finance/ERS and DCs to ensure smooth set up and/or transition of new items, tests, and promotions into our restaurants. Analyze and establish metrics to evaluate routing, delivery frequency, and drop sizes. Conduct “what‑if” scenario analyses and prepare cost/benefit assessments for proposed changes. Present recommendations to Logistics leadership and secure alignment on proposed initiatives. Serve as liaison between the DC and SC Technology team to coordinate implementation plans for new technology/innovation. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university required. 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning/Optimization, Logistics and working with complex data. APICS, CBAP, Six Sigma Training preferred. Experience producing, interpreting, and communicating forecasts, budgets, and variance. Sales & Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning experience. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. Strong analytical skills with a broad understanding of how data, statistics, and analytics can be used to drive business decisions preferred. PAY TRANSPARENCY A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $85,000.00–$122,500.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
