About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Planet Fitness - NJ/MA One World Fitness as a Weekday Opener This exciting role is perfect for early risers who are passionate about fitness and customer service, helping create a welcoming environment for our members from 5am to 11am.

Responsibilities:

Open the gym, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all members.

Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.

Assist members with check-in and provide exceptional customer service.

Monitor gym activities, ensuring adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.

Handle member inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages member engagement.

Support team members in daily operations and special events.

Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with ordering as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.

Previous experience in customer service or fitness environment is a plus.

Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends.

Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and gym operations.

CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.

Passion for fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
