Support warehouse functions of 3rd shift in a safe, accurate, efficient and effective manner, including but not limited to: selection, loading, receiving, replenishment and returns. Responsible for the safe and effective operation and pre-trip inspection of forklifts, as well as adherence to all Safety policies and procedures. Develop and maintain solid interdepartmental relationships, including effective and consistent communication. Continually support and embrace the Crescent Crown Vision. This position operates a Ride/Walk pallet jack pulling orders for next-day delivery. Requires fast-paced repetitive lifting of at least 50 lbs. during 3rd shift. Performance pay is based on piece work and accuracy. Prior food/beverage, or other similar fast-paced order picking experience is desired. Voice-pick experience is very desirable.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age;
  • Physical ability to perform warehouse duties;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors;
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team;
  • Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and practice ethical conduct;
  • Reports to work on a regular and timely basis;
  • Extended hours may be required as service needs dictate;
  • Promotes and observes safety and security procedures, uses equipment and materials properly;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification and regularly operate forklift and/or ride/walk pallet jack to pull orders for next day delivery;
  • Ability to regularly lift/carry at least 50 lbs. and occasionally push/pull over 240 lbs.;
  • Requires fast-paced repetitive lifting of at least 50 lbs. continuously throughout shift and pay is based on performance/accuracy:
  • Able to regularly bend, reach, stoop, and walk throughout warehouse;
  • Able to maneuver dolly effectively;
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred;
  • Experience in the operation of a forklift, warehouse environment preferred;
  • One (1) year of previous warehouse experience desired;
  • Prior food/beverage, or other similar fast-paced order picking experience is desired;
  • Voice-pick experience is very desirable.
