About the Role

We’re recruiting a part-time Warehouse Operations and Retail Assistant, working 20 hours per week. Shifts will run Monday to Sunday on a rota system and will be agreed at offer stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely move heavy stock between the warehouse and sales floor
  • Check off and accurately book in deliveries of donated and purchased goods
  • Clean and prepare incoming items using store equipment (e.g. vacuum, cleaning sprays, polishing tools)
  • Carry out minor repairs and cosmetic improvements on donated goods
  • Support the sales floor team by replenishing stock and maintaining a tidy, safe retail environment
  • Deliver excellent customer service, helping customers and donors when required

What We’re Looking For

Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items safely

  • Comfortable with cleaning and basic repairs (e.g. tightening screws, touching up furniture)
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a proactive approach
  • Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to support others
  • Experience in warehouse, retail, or manual handling roles is a plus, but not essential
  • Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

Working Hours

20 hours per week

  • Shift pattern: (assigned by the Manager)
  • Some flexibility may be required to support branch operations
