Description

The primary responsibilities of the Warehouse Coordinator are to assist with the execution of all shipments, including capital equipment. This role is also responsible for accurately receiving and accounting for all parts and materials. The ideal candidate will have advanced domestic and international shipping and receiving experience in the Manufacturing industry and is persistent in accomplishing the position’s objectives.

Essential Responsibilities

· Assist with the planning and execution of the organization’s shipments, including both domestic and international.

· Assist with in-bound shipments by accurately inspecting, recording, and distributing the materials/supplies.

· Communicates with carriers, brokers and customs agents to successfully complete the shipments of capital equipment.

· Collaborates with the organization’s Purchasing Agent to accurately account for all purchased goods.

· Accurately Process all receiving transactions-using the organization’s ERP system, (M1).

· Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures for shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

· Ensure each load leaving the company is secured and has proper crating for maximum safeguarding.

· Supports inventory cycle count.

· Collaborates with team members and customers to resolve discrepancies.

· Operates forklift to complete daily warehouse responsibilities.

· Drives the organization’s fleet to deliver parts and materials to local customers.

· Obtain through understanding and training of each role in the Warehouse Department to be able to substitute in the absence of team members.

· Participates in the organization’s continuous improvement objectives.

· Performs additional duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements/Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working as a Receiving Coordinator in the Manufacturing Industry
  • Experience using an ERP system (M1 Preferred)
  • Experience driving a forklift
  • Highly organized
  • Clean driving record
  • Able to work extended hours, including standing for extended periods
  • Adhere to workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to understand the production flow
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability and willingness to travel - (Up to 5% required)
