Job description:

Job Title - Sleep Tech
Unit - Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Tech)
Duration -12 Weeks
Shift -PM (19:00 - 07:00)
Location -Oneonta, NY 13820

Position Summary:
The Sleep Technician (Polysomnographic Technologist) is responsible for conducting overnight and daytime sleep studies to diagnose and evaluate sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and other related conditions. This role involves preparing patients for sleep studies, applying monitoring equipment, observing and recording physiological data, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Job Duties:

  • PSG (Polysomnography)
  • PSG with titration
  • MSLT (Multiple Sleep Latency Test)
  • MWT (Maintenance of Wakefulness Test)
  • Inspire titration (training provided, new service)
  • Scoring
  • PSG with seizure montage

Note: 2 years of Sleep Tech Experience

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 years
  • Certification Requirements: RPSGT or RRT with SDS
