If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.<br><br>As a <strong>Chassis Controls Engineer</strong>, you will be expected to lead the development and implementation of multiple chassis system ECUs and their interaction within the vehicle system architecture. This position requires previous experience in systems engineering, requirements management, and controls/feature development preferably, in the automotive field<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop & evaluate multiple chassis system components in the context of a larger overall system</li><li>Understand and develop overall communication, feature design, and requirements between chassis systems and the rest of the vehicle to deliver world class chassis controls and attributes.</li><li>Architect, Create, and maintain System requirements, System Architecture, and Attributes for the vehicle</li><li>Manage and review system architecture documentation including but not limited to system models, wiring diagrams, communication protocols, ARXMLs, DBCs, and take action to maintain this documentation.</li><li>Organize reviews, oversee validation efforts and maintain documentation for multiple programs</li><li>Breakdown system functions into work packages and plan system maturity milestones with vehicle program </li><li>Works with FUSA and Quality teams to develop requirements and test cases<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>6+ years of industry experience in Vehicle dynamics, Chassis System Engineering, or Vehicle Controls</li><li>Experience with core Chassis Hardware and Software Modules such as Stability control, Power brakes, Electric Power steering, Suspension Controls, ETC</li><li>Experience with Atlassian Suite Tools</li><li>Deep understanding of V model software development</li><li>Hands on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex systems and rapid software development</li><li>Experience with requirement management tools, and MBSE, and their associated tools</li><li>BS(MS preferred) minimum in the areas of Computer Science, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, or other related fields<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience with System (or Software Design) for safety critical embedded systems</li><li>Training in ISO26262</li><li>Experience with Federal and international automotive Homologation Requirements</li><li>Strong Brake systems experience or experience in vehicle controls related to drivability, traction control, or related<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Compensation and Benefits</strong>: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
