<p><strong>Technical Buyer - Permanent Opportunity - Flint</strong></p> <p><strong>Monday to Friday</strong></p> <p><strong>From 45,000 per annum</strong><br> Our market leading manufacturing client are seeking a skilled Technical Buyer to join their dynamic supply chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing materials, components, and services essential to their manufacturing and operational processes.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will come with a background in FMCG and supply chain management principles, ensure optimal inventory levels, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining seamless supply chain operations and supporting production schedules through strategic sourcing and negotiation.</p> <p><strong>Duties</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure that stock levels are identified and reviewed to establish minimum and maximum stock levels, based on cost.</li> <li>Establish an effective engineering stores procedures with correct documentation, utilising various systems.</li> <li>Ensure stock levels and expenditure can be monitored and maintained within budget.</li> <li>Source quality spares at competitive prices by liaising with existing and new suppliers, ensuring that they deliver OTIF (on time and in full).</li> <li>Liaise with Technicians to establish requirements for purchase of specialist or non-stock items, ensuring timely delivery.</li> <li>Place orders in a timely fashion so minimum stock levels or planned dates are not compromised.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of procurement activities including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier evaluation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience & attributes required</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years working in a similar FMCG Manufacturing environment</li> <li>Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.</li> <li>Reliable and good timekeeping, strong attendace</li> <li>Team player, personable and friendly</li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in this opportunity to work with a forward thinking, growing organisation please apply now and a member of our team will contact you.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?H32OKDJwbZO%2f8irtLZ4wrAi" width="0" height="0" />
