Job Description:

  • Develop and cultivate business relationships with power utility, renewables, and data center generation industry Architects and Engineers, system integrators, and owner’s engineer(s)
  • Provide competitive differentiation and pricing strategy to PWS management along with negotiation leadership
  • Provide technical presentations/demos to inform customers of new products, enhancements, and services
  • Maintain knowledge of current utility water trends and business direction, providing PWS Management with industry updates
  • Implement sales pursuit plans, proposal preparation, and negotiation support
  • Participate in local professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences as a representative of Emerson
  • Recommend appropriate Power & Water Solutions technology and services to meet specific customer requirements
  • Meet fiscal year territorial booking and margin objectives
  • Create and implement territory business plans
  • Maintain the Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in power generation, engineering, field service, marketing, or sales
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
