In the <b>Strategic </b><b>Project Manager - Global Laboratory Operations</b> role, you routinely manage different-scale, multifaceted, global projects bringing strategic advancement to laboratory operations.</p><p>In this role, the <b>Strategic </b><b>Project Manager - Global Laboratory Operations</b> will provide internal and potentially external Clients with a central point of contact for assigned projects within Labcorp Clinical Trial Testing Solutions - PMO. The individual is accountable for leading the Program/Project teams to ensure that internal and external Client requirements and deliverables are met. This involves end-to-end management of a program/project, encompassing effective management of communications and use of the appropriate tools to ensure successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and completion of projects.</p><p>This position will be <b>home based.</b></p><p><b>In more details, you will be responsible for the following:</b></p><ul><li>Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of projects assigned</li><li>Responsible to create and manage detailed project plans</li><li>Responsible to report project status to team, management and stakeholders through regular status reports, management reports and communications meetings</li><li>Responsible to track project issues and ensure appropriate resolution working closely with the upper leadership</li><li>Responsible to hold formal project reviews with management to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction</li><li>Responsible to deliver projects successfully on time and on or under budget with regularity and predictability</li><li>Record actual labor utilization on the project and creates resource utilization forecasts</li><li>Assist the laboratory management and the wider organization in the following aspects of project planning</li><li>Project scope and change control processes</li><li>Manage the relationship within project teams, executive sponsors and all identified stakeholders</li><li>Motivate teams by presenting a vision and strategy for delivery</li><li>Negotiate on behalf of all project team members to ensure service delivery and team satisfaction</li><li>Effectively works with a diverse group of stakeholders in the organization</li><li>Project status updates</li><li>Project’s budget allocation, approval and management</li></ul><h2><b>What we are looking for:</b></h2><ul><li>Minimum of a Bachelors degree or country equivalent</li><li>Minimum <b>5 years of experience in Project Management</b>, leading complex global projects</li><li><b>PMP certification</b></li><li><b>Experience leading complex strategic projects; managing or participation in IT projects are an advantage.</b></li><li>Demonstrated experience in team building, influencing and conflict resolution</li><li>Experience of working in a global multicultural environment</li><li>Previous experience of driving continuous improvement</li><li>Proven track record of successful project completion</li><li>Experience with project management tools including Microsoft Project and Office</li><li>Fluency in <b>English</b></li><li>Proven leadership skills</li><li>Demonstrated strong customer service skills</li><li>Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills</li><li>Demonstrated a high degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively</li><li>This role can require some global travel when needed.</li></ul><p><b>Thrive personally and professionally at Labcorp</b></p><p>Working at Labcorp, you’ll continue to grow in our learning-based culture so you’ll know how to expertly respond and adapt as the industry continues to evolve.
