Job Summary The Senior Manager of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) will play a critical leadership role in transforming Financial Reporting and Consolidations within a rapidly growing financial services organization. This individual will leverage deep systems expertise, process engineering skills, and strong business analysis and accounting knowledge to drive the design, optimization, and technical delivery of modern financial technology solutions. The role focuses on guiding technical and functional teams, architecting solutions, and ensuring high‑quality delivery of system enhancements and enterprise capabilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and guide the functional and technical support teams for Financial Reporting and Consolidations, ensuring effective solution direction, issue resolution, and consistent documentation. Own the technical deliverables for financial applications (e.g., OneStream), including functional specifications for configurations, integrations, reports, workflows, extensions, and customizations. Coordinate and align functional and technical teams to ensure cohesive delivery of solution components and to support effective decision-making around design tradeoffs. Provide expert guidance to Subject Matter Experts, driving standardized processes, best practices, and consistent configuration approaches across the finance systems environment. Evaluate design challenges, facilitate root-cause analysis, and guide stakeholders toward system- and process-related solutions aligned with industry best practices. Identify and communicate business impacts related to requirements or scope changes, ensuring technical teams adjust deliverables accordingly and that risks or dependencies are surfaced proactively. Define, refine, and maintain process workflows, roles, and responsibilities to support Finance transformation and ongoing operational excellence. Oversee the design and delivery of reporting enhancements and system capability expansions across the financial applications ecosystem. Lead the development and execution of testing strategies, including functional testing, user acceptance testing, and coordination of integration testing with technical resources. Ensure ongoing maintenance of training materials and user documentation, driving strong communication and adoption of new or updated system capabilities. Perform advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution, applying analytical skills to diagnose problems and recommend long-term solutions. Conduct recurring reviews of system processes and usage, identifying opportunities for further automation, efficiency improvements, and standardization. Oversee production support activities, prioritizing enhancements, managing escalated issues, and serving as the primary technical advisor to business stakeholders. Implement and maintain a robust control framework for Financial Reporting and Consolidations systems, ensuring compliance with required governance and control standards. Provide leadership and direction to team members, setting expectations, reviewing work quality, and guiding technical and functional contributors. Coach and develop team members, identifying skill gaps and recommending training and development opportunities that enhance team capability. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of • Company’s working structure, policies, mission, and strategies. • Strong, comprehensive knowledge of HFM and OneStream functional concepts, configuration, testing, and ability to update test plans and documentation to include latest application changes and enhancements. • Full life cycle HFM and OneStream implementation experience. • Solid knowledge and work experience in accounting and financial reporting. • Solid knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting and analytics tools. Skilled in • Configuring and supporting HFM and OneStream applications, in particular Consolidations, Reporting, Translation, and Budget/Planning . • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated leadership role in coaching and training more staff. • Interpreting and applying policies and procedures. • Establishing departmental objectives. • Promoting effective coordination between business unit and other functional areas. • Working effectively with Information Technology team of System Administrators, DBAs and Application Developers Ability to • Manage, coach and mentor others. • Identify training needs and develop subordinates. • Ability to clearly articulate ideas, solutions and recommendations at various levels ranging anywhere from senior management to business users to an IT team. • Ability to quickly pick up new technologies quickly and gain an in-depth understanding of the solution architecture. • Ability to be a self-starter accustomed to a fast-paced environment. • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. • Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with many interruptions. • Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels. Education/Previous Experience • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, and/or Accounting Systems and a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a functional leader. • OR ~ • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources. Licenses/Certifications • Series 99 preferred.
