Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Jonas POS
  • Prepare and serve food items with proper food handling and sanitation practices
  • Upsell menu items to boost sales and enhance guest satisfaction through effective suggestive selling techniques
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently
  • Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
  • Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed, adhering to food safety standards
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of menu offerings, specials, and promotions to inform guests confidently
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders while managing multiple tables in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting

Experience

  • Previous experience in fine dining service or country club environments is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Jonas is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Experience with food handling, sanitation procedures, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while demonstrating excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of the food industry standards for safety, cleanliness, and proper serving techniques
  • Prior experience in fine dining, events or country club environments involving serving, cashiering, or food prep is advantageous
  • Proper dress attire and hygiene
