Role and Responsibilities We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to scale and maximize market share within the B2B Hospitality Display sector. This role will focus on driving new sales opportunities with all hospitality ownership groups and management companies, along with an acute focus on growing the business with top reseller accounts. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with identified accounts, understanding their business needs, and ensuring that Samsung delivers tailored solutions that drive mutual growth and success. This includes developing net new partners, as well as enhancing current partners through identifying key decision makers, developing and planning account and product strategies, and maintaining total customer satisfaction. Role & Responsibilities Develop and maintain new and existing hospitality partners with a focus on ownership groups, management companies, and key resellers with the overall objective to maximize market share and drive sales Collaborate one-on-one within multiple departments of an ownership group or management company to uncover new business opportunities and effectively identify customer needs Create new programs and go-to-market strategy for newly identified ownership groups and management companies Develop strategic growth incentives for existing ownership groups and management companies Identify and leverage key decision maker/ C -level relationships Develop and manage initiatives to drive incremental sales with top hospitality resellers Plan and successfully execute tailored account strategies to drive greater awareness and acceptance of Samsung’s full product portfolio within the hospitality industry Oversee all phases of the sales cycle in collaboration with Key Account Managers with a core focus on pipeline accuracy and supply chain management Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and strong internal alignment with operations and supply chain management, ensuring any/all deadlines are met when requested Closely collaborate with internal Key Account Managers to perform long range planning, increase product placement, customer satisfaction and sales growth for long term results and market share maximization Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and insights to internal stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making Maintain working knowledge of Samsung’s product IT B2B product portfolio - primarily focused on Hospitality TV, but including Smart Signage, Indoor LED, Desktop Monitors, Software, etc. Stay current on hospitality market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to proactively identify opportunities and risks Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must possess a strong knowledge of the Hospitality industry, including ownership groups and management companies In-depth understanding of industry products and market intelligence Effectively manage a pipeline, accurately report on all sales activity, and provide assessment of revenue opportunity along with model and unit forecast Team player capable of balancing individual goals with shared objectives Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with a sound decision-making background Innate ability to engage and build relationships at all levels within Samsung and partner organizations Effectively listen to and be the voice of key partners, proactively advocating for their needs within the organization Aptitude to accept tasks and work to resolve problems when only broad and general guidelines exist Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business management or related study preferred Experienced professional with 5+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred A strong technical foundation is considered a plus Proven track record of successfully selling complex hardware and services solutions Customer-facing presentation; skilled in negotiation and client communications Sound business acumen with professional written and verbal communication Operational knowledge working on a CRM platform Microsoft Office skills Ability to work independently and travel up to 50%+ of the time #LI-AL1 Life @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/life-at-samsung/ Benefits @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/benefits/ The salary range for this role is expected to be between $157,500 and $195,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
