We’re enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and working hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come.</p> <p><b>About the role: </b></p> <p>This role is a fixed term position to support the extensive upgrade works at Cruachan Power Station, which will deliver the replacement of Units 3&4 and a Supergrid Transformer alongside a variety of other work packages. You’ll be for supporting operational compliance with all safety, environmental and quality management legislation and standards at Cruachan Power Station, through the period of upgrade works. You’ll support the HSE Manager, site leadership team, and wider operations and engineering teams in delivering the planned upgrade, and continued plant operation in a safe, efficient, environmentally compliant Manner.<b></b></p> <p>You’ll be a role model; lead, champion and deliver excellent HSE standards and performance across the plant and provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals. </p> <p>As part of the HSE Team, you’ll have responsibility for implementing and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Policies on-site as required by the Business.</p> <p>You’ll maintain the Integrated Management Systems (HSEQ) for Cruachan in accordance with ISO standards and establish Health, Safety and Environmental standards and influencing all site personnel to comply with these. </p> <p>This will be a full time site based position.<b></b></p> <p><b>Who we’re looking for:</b></p> <p>To be successful in this role you’ll have a proven track record of leading & delivering H&S improvements in a similar site-based role coupled with a recognised qualification in Occupational Health & Safety - NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent as a minimum and be a professional member (or be working towards) a relevant safety or occupational health professional body such as the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)</p> <p>Previous experience in energy, engineering, manufacturing or construction would be preferred.</p> <p><b>Rewards and benefits:</b></p> <p>As you help us to shape the future, we’ve shaped our rewards and benefits to help you thrive and support your lifestyle.
