<p><strong>Location:</strong> 3520 Laird Road, Mississauga, L5L 5Z7</p> <p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Tuesday to Saturday (8 am to 4 pm) - flexibility required as per business needs.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>As the site Sanitation Manager, you will lead the practice of maintaining the highest level of food safety and quality for our products by creating and implementing Sanitation Programs at the site without compromising Employee Health and Safety.  You will be responsible for the execution of the Sanitation Program and taking corrective actions to proactively prevent product contamination, as well as, effectively managing contractors, in-house personnel, chemicals suppliers and other vendors.  This role is based out of our Ready-to-Eat meals manufacturing facility in Mississauga.</p> <p><strong>What you will be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for safety and well-being of all in-house sanitation employees.  Coordinate and execute the cleaning of equipment and work areas at the facility.</li> <li>Oversee performance of sanitation supervisors and leads, cleaning contractors and in-house cleaning employees at the facility.</li> <li>Provide direction and training to employees to ensure all cleaning and sanitation is executed in compliance with GMPs, Health and Safety Policies, SFCR and HACCP System (and other CFIA requirements, and GFSI certification  requirements (BRC and SQF), in addition to HelloFresh Global standards.</li> <li>Oversee and manage sanitation budget (i.e. labor, overheads, supplies, sanitation chemicals) to ensure that target budget is achieved based on volume demand without compromising food safety and personnel safety.</li> <li>Work with Technical team for various approved vendors (sanitation chemicals,  sanitation labor,  etc)   in reviewing,   analyzing and developing actions to maintain and improve sanitation metrics (visual pre-op findings,  Environmental Monitoring Program - ATP, TVC/TPC,  Listeria, etc)</li> <li>Develop, modify and maintain sanitation program (SSOPs) and training manual, and train sanitation employees on sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements. </li> <li>Track and Trend effectiveness of cleaning and sanitization of equipment, surfaces, utensils, and site environment, providing direction and working ‘hands on’ to solve problems, i.e. conduct gemba walks and other lean initiatives.  </li> <li>Manage the execution of the Master Sanitation Schedule with the sanitation team -  non-daily sanitation tasks, and other activities based on priorities, scheduling, availability</li> <li>Lead root cause analysis sessions mitigate non-conformances to ensure compliance on all quality assurance and food safety requirements on a regular and daily basis.</li> <li>Maintain and develop sanitation KPIs (TPC swabs, ATP, Pre-op deficiencies, MSS completion, operational cleaning efficiencies), measure performance, and deliver on improvements as needed.</li> <li>Conduct and participate in sanitation investigation activities as required.</li> <li>Lead as an example to follow and demonstrate Hellofresh DNA values</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>At a minimum, you have: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Post-secondary education in Operations Management, Chemistry, Microbiology, Science or related field.</li> <li>3+ years of management experience in the manufacturing environment in a Sanitation leadership role (high risk / high care / RTE operations preferred).</li> <li>Strong leadership skills; the ability to motivate a diverse team and work cross-functionally to support a common goal.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast paced and agile environment.</li> <li>Top-notch planning skills, time management, and attention to detail;
