About the Role As a Banana Republic Style Specialist, you will create aspirational, modern, and on-trend looks that enhance each customer’s emotional connection to the brand. You are a fashion authority with strong styling instincts and deep product knowledge, especially across apparel fabrications, styles, fits, and emerging trends. You will provide a high-touch, inclusive, and elevated service experience, building brand loyalty through authentic engagement and personalized clienteling. Your goal is to inspire confidence, drive conversion, and cultivate a loyal client base by serving as a trusted style partner. Additionally, you will proactively clientele through outreach, tailored follow-ups, and relationship-building strategies designed to deepen engagement and support repeat visits and long-term loyalty. What You'll Do Stay current with credible and relevant fashion references, including current style icons and influencers, and translate that inspiration into action by solving customer styling needs Bring our Brand Codes to life across every customer touchpoint, with particular focus on delivering an elevated fitting room experience through personalized styling, confidence building guidance, and high touch service that drives conversion and loyalty Create personalized styling solutions using a strong understanding of apparel, fabrications, fits, and silhouettes. Connect and engage with customers authentically to build strong relationships and brand loyalty Serve as a Brand storyteller, demonstrating strong knowledge of products to create exceptional experiences Drive sales and achieve store goals with the client as your primary focus Demonstrate values and behaviors consistent with our Values Based Leadership Behaviors Who You Are At least 1 year of experience clienteling in a premium fashion environment, demonstrating deep knowledge of trends and designer brands and the ability to apply that insight to meet customers’ styling needs. Effective communicator with experience in creating meaningful connections with customers that builds brand loyalty Able to navigate various technology platforms with or without a reasonable accommodation as part of the clienteling process Flexible and adaptable to work shifts that meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and peak business hours; flexible and/or consistent scheduling may be available as required by state, provincial, and local laws.
