We are currently recruiting for a Retail Sales Advisor to work the following pattern: -
20 hours a week, Working Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day between the hours of 10am - 5pm (flexibility may be required)
Hourly Rate £12.30 / Annual Salary £ 12,792 (Full Time Equivalent £25,584)

About The Role

You will contribute to the daily operations of the store. Be passionate and driven to achieve excellent store sales performance and agreed key performance indicators, whilst delivering first-class customer service. What will I be doing as a Retail Sales Advisor?

  • Delivers first-class customer service in line with Nisbets expectations, ensuring all customer's needs are met and customer's repeatedly return.
  • Take ownership of contributing to store sales targets and KPIs including Revenue, Margin, Conversion, Footfall, Quotes and ATV to maximize profitability of the store.
  • Contribute to the store outreach plan, with the use of your own local knowledge, which may include but is not limited to, outbound sales calls, visiting customers and participate in meetings and events in store.
  • Partake in general shop floor duties, including stock replenishment and processing deliveries.
  • Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are met to drive customer engagement and repeat custom through maximizing Store KPIs.
  • Accurately complete stock auditing tasks in line with managers guidance
  • Process customer payment transactions whilst adhering to policy.
  • Be accountable for reading, understanding, and adhering to all retail policies communicated by your line manager.
  • Uphold great standards of Cleaning in areas of shop floor, back areas, windows, fitting rooms to create a healthy environment for customers and colleagues
  • Treat all visitors to the store with respect and consideration using training provided to assess and approach difficult situations with the aim of a positive solution.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all visitors to Store.
  • Proactively ask questions to ensure comprehension of all working practices and procedures

About You
What are we looking for in a Retail Sales Advisor?
The ideal candidate should have a passion for customer experience and satisfaction with a proactivity and willingness to go the extra mile to find the right solution for the customer. They should take pride in personal and store standards, continuously looking for ways to improve the customer experience.
  • We look for natural communicators, someone who is a personable and sociable individual and wants to work for an ever-growing business.
  • We need a good level of IT Literacy as you will be preparing quotes for customers and operating different systems and using Excel, Word and outlook.
  • Someone who is commercially focused and motivated by hitting store targets
  • Someone with a great work ethic and driven to work hard and contribute to the store’s success.
  • Enjoys working as part of, and contributing to a successful team
  • Organised with great time keeping
  • Basic numeracy, literacy & IT skills
  • Great verbal and written communicator
