Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Charlie Health is a rapidly growing organization focused on providing personalized, virtual care for individuals navigating mental health challenges. The Experiential Facilitator role involves facilitating group psycho-education sessions and developing creative experiential treatment approaches to support clients in their healing journey.


Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly group psycho-education via Telehealth
  • Develop creative ways to conduct experiential group treatment virtually
  • Assist with the creation of experiential therapy curriculum by submitting weekly group session plans
  • Contribute to treatment team, group supervision, and curriculum planning meetings
  • Ensure your clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices
  • Continuously further your knowledge of a psychosocial functioning of groups
  • Use thoughtful risk management
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner and be accurate and well-written
  • Maintain and model professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality

Skills

  • Licensed mental health professional preferred
  • Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults clients
  • Master's degree in mental health or related field
  • Experience and training in your experiential modality (all disciplines are welcome to apply) including, but not limited to: adventure, experiential, expressive therapy, creative therapy, recreation therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, sociometry, or psychodrama
  • Technical ability to run effective Telehealth sessions
  • Reliable WiFi connection when meeting with clients
  • Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox–in addition to EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis
  • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
  • 1099 position
  • At least 9 hours total availability needed a week, including availability at least 2 nights a week from 3-9pm MST Monday - Thursday

  • Master’s degree in mental health or related field
