They are seeking a Business Transformation Program/Project Manager to oversee multiple programs and projects across Business Operations, Product, and Technology, driving strategic initiatives that will shape the future of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Independently leads and coordinates programs and project from design to delivery
  • Serves as Program or Project Manager for cross-functional teams comprised of team members across operations, product and technology, and other businesses and business units
  • Works with appropriate colleagues and stakeholders to define and build deliverables including plans, business cases, program charters, risks assessments, stakeholder assessments, go-to-market t-plans, communication plans, issue / risk logs, benefits tracking and program status reports
  • Drives decision-making and ensures on time delivery of defined deliverables
  • Plays a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, processes and tools to ensure effective project management and success
  • Determines and coordinates sharing of leveraged resources among projects
  • Manages 3PL vendor agreements related to project delivery
  • Defines, implements and consults on Project Management standards and processes for relevant teams or projects
  • Drives execution of process improvement initiatives
  • Defines and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on overall status, challenges, changes, risk management, and delivery
  • Ensures the financial health of program by preparing budgets, forecasting expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating correcting actions in partnership with Finance and leadership

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; or 12 years' experience in a related field with no degree
  • 10+ years of program and/or portfolio management experience managing large-scale strategic or transformational programs
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at the executive level: preparing Board/ELT materials, facilitating C-suite discussions, and influencing without direct authority
  • Mastery of delivery methodologies including Agile, waterfall, and hybrid models
  • Certifications: PgMP, PfMP, Prosci/ADKAR, SAFe, or equivalent
  • Experience in large scale multi-year business transformations
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects in varying stages of implementation while adhering to timelines, quality standards, and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments and teams
