We are seeking an experienced Shop Inspector with expertise in pressure vessels, structural, and piping systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality and compliance of manufactured components according to project specifications, codes, and industry standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections of pressure vessels, piping, and structural steel in a shop environment
  • Verify compliance with engineering drawings, codes, and quality standards
  • Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) as required
  • Document inspection results and report any non-conformances
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience inspecting pressure vessels, piping systems, and structural components
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, CSA)
  • Familiarity with NDT methods is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately

 

 

Wage: $30.00 - $40.00/Hour
