Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort – Fujairah, UAE

Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to support the Purchasing Department in ensuring efficient procurement operations, accurate documentation, and timely availability of goods and services in line with hotel standards and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in processing purchase requests, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, quotations, delivery notes, and invoices.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Verify received items against purchase orders and delivery documents.

  • Liaise with Stores, Finance, and user departments to ensure smooth procurement flow.

  • Maintain supplier database and filing systems (manual and system-based).

  • Follow hotel purchasing policies, procedures, and approval processes.

  • Support cost control initiatives and ensure compliance with company standards.

  • Assist with inventory checks and stock-related documentation when required.

  • Perform other purchasing-related duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

Candidate Profile
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 1–2 years experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a hotel or resort.

  • Basic knowledge of purchasing procedures and inventory control.

  • Familiarity with ERP/Purchasing systems is an advantage.

  • Good communication skills in English.

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
