We are part of the Chemring Group of companies and have a solid global infrastructure, which also helps us to thrive.</p> <p>The Production Operative will be required to multi-skill across process areas as required to support production output.</p> <h2>The responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):</h2> <ul> <li>Follow process instructions to assist in achieving daily output</li> <li>Follow all health and safety procedures</li> <li>Wearing full PPE Lead</li> <li>Weigh fill and press Squib Cartridges</li> <li>Manufacture and preparation for Chaff productions</li> <li>Assembly of Flares</li> <li>Ensure compliance with the Core Health & Safety Fire Training</li> <li>Quality control of all products</li> <li>Handling of pyrotechnic products</li> </ul> <h2>Production Operative Specification</h2> <ul> <li>Right to live and work in the UK, with ability to obtain a BPSS</li> <li>Ability to wear full PPE</li> <li>Previously worked in a similar environment</li> <li>Safety knowledge</li> </ul> <p>This role will be worked over 4 days, working 34 hours per week, Mon to Thurs 14:30 23:45pm. Flexibility in this role is critical to the success of supporting the team. The Production Operative role will be temporary with the possibility of going permanent after 12 weeks.</p> <p>The successful candidate will receive a salary of £23,779.60 - £27,015.04.
