About the position

As a member of the Process Governance team, you will have the opportunity to influence the PBM through customer-centric service delivery and operational excellence. This role will allow you to showcase your talent to lead, facilitate, and drive business process improvement initiatives while making a direct impact on members, clients, and providers. This role requires the ability to influence and drive change. As a member of the Process Governance team, you will take an active role in helping the organization achieve top quality. Passion for problem solving and the ability to identify innovative solutions will be key to your success in this role. You will have opportunities to interact with operations senior leadership on critical projects and work with a variety of cross-functional partners. Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages cross-functional process improvement initiatives, leveraging best practices and a variety of approaches and tools.
  • Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and designs sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable future state solutions.
  • Documents existing processes and conducts root cause analysis to identify pain points.
  • Aligns with business partners to prioritize opportunities and recommend solutions that improve quality and service.
  • Communicates project status and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Provides input to work instructions, job aids, and training material.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • 3 plus years of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in process improvement methodologies preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, health administration, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills: ability to perform data analysis, summarize findings, and use data to support proposed solutions preferred.
  • Proven critical and strategic thinking skills; ability to identify, assess, and solve problems required.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to leverage knowledge base to quickly grasp new business areas and concepts preferred.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills preferred.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, embrace change, and work both independently and in conjunction with co-workers of all levels required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong presentation skills across multiple levels of stakeholders required.
