Summary

We are seeking a talented part-time OpenText Documentum Consultant to support the delivery and ongoing improvement of enterprise content management solutions built on OpenText Documentum. This role focuses on system architecture, administration, and technical troubleshooting, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stable, scalable, and well-designed Documentum environments.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on Documentum expertise and can both assess existing implementations and guide future enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Design the architecture of new Documentum systems or assess and review existing implementations for best practices and long-term sustainability
  • Evaluate whether current Documentum environments are properly architected and designed, and provide clear recommendations for improvement
  • Provide guidance on scaling Documentum implementations to support growth, performance, and reliability
  • Perform system administration and technical troubleshooting for Documentum-based platforms
  • Advise on and support integration of other enterprise systems with Documentum
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams to ensure smooth operation and continuous enhancement of Documentum solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience as an OpenText Documentum Consultant or Administrator
  • Proven expertise in Documentum architecture and system design
  • Hands-on experience assessing and optimizing existing Documentum environments
  • Solid understanding of scalability, performance, and integration within enterprise content management systems
  • Ability to work independently and provide clear, practical technical guidance
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with diverse teams
