Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Swindon, SN6

Pay Rate: £12.21p/h

Shifts: Monday to Friday - 07:00 - 15:00

Contract: Temporary ongoing (Potential for Temp to perm for the right candidate)

Gap personnel are currently recruiting for Production Operatives in Swindon in the SN6 area to join a well-established packaging company based in Swindon. The ideal candidate must have good English written and spoken, and production experience would be an advantage. Being PC literate is also an advantage as lots of packing / goods in activities are involved.

For those who demonstrate good attendance, performance and great work approach, there may be an ongoing position available after peak time.

Key Duties:

  • Safely and efficiently operate and oversee production machinery
  • Load raw materials into machines following production timelines
  • Conduct quality inspections on final products to ensure they meet company specifications
  • Pack finished goods, ready for shipment
  • Keep the work area organized and adhere to all health and safety protocols
  • Immediately notify the supervisor of any machine malfunctions or product quality concerns

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Enthusiastic work ethic with a willingness to go for an extra mile
  • Previous warehouse experience working and production is an advantage
  • Ability to follow & fully understand instructions and be able to clearly explain requirements to others.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail.

Working hours :

  • Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 15:00

Pay rate:

  • £12.21 per hour on AM shift
