Operations Associate – Day & Afternoon Shifts
Location: Guelph, ON
Pay: $18.50/hour to start – $20.80/hour after hire-on
Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Days: 7:15am – 3:15pm
• Afternoons: 3:15pm – 11:15pm

Express Employment Professionals – Guelph has partnered with an amazing company in Guelph to fill multiple Operations Associate roles.

This is a potential evaluation-to-hire opportunity for the right fit. Successful candidates will be working in a physically demanding, fast-paced production environment supporting the washing, sanitizing, sorting, and palletizing of plastic produce crates for shipment. The role involves consistent movement throughout the shift, working across multiple lines, and maintaining productivity in a team-based setting while following established safety procedures.

This position requires individuals who are dependable, adaptable, and able to maintain a steady and safe work pace in a repetitive environment. There is a strong opportunity for long-term employment and wage progression following successful completion of the evaluation period.

Job Duties:

  • Wash and sanitize plastic produce crates
  • Palletize crates on multiple lines
  • Sort and stack crates
  • Unload trucks
  • Unpack, wrap, and repack for shipment
  • Visually differentiate crate sizes
  • Maintain a safe and steady pace

Requirements:

  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • PPE ready (steel toes required)
  • Shift flexibility
  • Reliable transportation / commute
  • Ability to work across multiple lines
  • Physically able to keep up in a repetitive, fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to full shift attendance (“no walk-off” commitment)

There is a mandatory internal onboarding process, including:

  • Health & Safety orientation
  • Site tour
