Position Overview:

  • Role: Nurse Practitioner for Urgent Care Telehealth Program
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Schedule: Minimum 10 hours/week, with flexible scheduling options
  • Night and weekend availability strongly preferred
  • Compensation: Approximately $60/hour
    • Important Note:This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct video and phone evaluations (both scheduled and on-demand) and asynchronous communication with patients (adults and children).
  • Provide urgent care treatment for various conditions, including seasonal allergies, cold/flu symptoms, and more.
  • Serve a diverse patient population, embodying our commitment to inclusive and evidence-based care
  • Actively licensed as NP in good standing in least 5 states (with at least 3 of those states being AZ, WA, PA, MN, CA, TX, or NY) - we cannot accept Physician Assistants (PAs) at this time
  • Board certified as FNP, AGNP, or ACNP by the ANCC or AANP
  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate independent practice; board certification required
    • 2 years of independent practice experience strongly preferred
  • Availability to work minimum of 10 hours/week (flexible on time of day/days of the week)
  • Comfort with technology, professionalism, and strong communication skills
  • Telemedicine or virtual care experience is an asset
