About Us
Mahoney IT Group is building a next-generation Security Operations Platform combining 24/7 SOC monitoring, AI-driven incident prioritization, cloud visibility, and executive-level risk reporting.

Our strategic marketing direction is led by de Coster Marketing LLC. We are now looking for an operational marketing support professional to help execute and scale our communication efforts.

Your Role
This is not a strategy position.
You will support the execution of our marketing strategy across social media, email marketing, and sales enablement materials.

You will work closely with leadership and our marketing strategy team to ensure consistent brand communication and content output.

Responsibilities

1. Social Media Execution (Approx. 10–12 hours per month)

  • Create and publish 3 LinkedIn posts per week
  • Develop short-form content (Reels / short videos / graphics)
  • Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized assets
  • Community management and engagement monitoring
  • Maintain content calendar

Primary platform: LinkedIn (B2B focus)

2. Newsletter & CRM Support (Approx. 8–10 hours per month)

  • Create and distribute one monthly newsletter
  • Assist with segmentation and tag management
  • Maintain CRM data hygiene
  • Support marketing automation workflows

3. Sales & Marketing Materials (Approx. 10 hours per month)

  • Design and format sales one-pagers
  • Update presentation decks
  • Support landing page content formatting
  • Prepare materials for trade shows or events

Focus is on execution and visual preparation — strategy is provided.

4. Internal Marketing Requests (Approx. 8–10 hours per month)

  • Support internal marketing needs within the Mahoney IT Group
  • Create graphics, posts, and supporting materials as requested
  • Maintain brand consistency

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn (B2B preferred)
  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic understanding of email marketing platforms
  • Organized and self-managed
  • Comfortable working with leadership
  • Strong written English (US market tone)

Nice to have:

  • Experience in B2B tech or cybersecurity
  • Basic understanding of SaaS

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a Marketing Director role
  • Not a strategic positioning role
  • Not responsible for defining ICP or funnel architecture

Strategy is provided. Execution excellence is expected.

Growth Opportunity
This role has potential to grow into a full-time marketing position as the platform scales.

High performers may take on increasing responsibility over time.

As Mahoney IT Group expands its marketing footprint, additional responsibilities may be added based on performance and business development. This may include the management of additional social media platforms, expanded content formats, campaign execution support, or ownership of new marketing initiatives as the company grows.

The scope of this role is intentionally designed to scale with company growth.

Success Metrics (First 6 Months)

  • 12+ LinkedIn posts per month
  • 1 structured newsletter per month
  • 2–3 sales assets created monthly
  • Consistent brand presentation
  • On-time content delivery

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
