Supervisor - Civil Engineer with MEP Experience

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer Supervisor with strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) knowledge to oversee civil and MEP maintenance activities . The ideal candidate must have solid experience in facility management / construction / building maintenance, along with strong leadership and site supervision capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Civil & MEP Supervision

  • Oversee day-to-day civil and MEP maintenance works across assigned sites.
  • Monitor execution of tasks related to civil works (masonry, carpentry, painting, plastering, concrete, waterproofing, tiling, etc.).
  • Supervise MEP activities including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical tasks.
  • Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Team Management

  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary technicians (civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
  • Allocate work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site training for technicians.

Site & Project Coordination

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance checks.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and team for work completion.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on site activities and progress.
  • Identify site issues and recommend effective technical solutions.
  • Prepare daily work allocation for the maintenance team

Health, Safety & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations.
  • Enforce quality standards and verify that all works meet company and client requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to inspections, materials, and manpower.

Materials & Resource Management

  • Determine material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
  • Maintain inventory and oversee proper usage of tools and equipment.
  • Verify work completion and assist in preparing BOQs, estimates, and cost proposals.
  • Verify material quantities on site and ensure accuracy.

AutoCAD & Technical Drawings

  • Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Update drawings and prepare as-built layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Ensure that technicians and contractors execute work as per drawings and specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 4–6 years’ UAE experience in facility management / construction / maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in BOQ preparation, estimation, and material take-offs.
  • Ability to supervise multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
  • Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations.
  • Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
