Job Overview:



We are seeking an experienced IT Field Support Engineer to join our team at Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The IT Field Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our clients' IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support and excellent communication skills.



Key Responsibilities:



- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for clients' IT systems and infrastructure



- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems



- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner



- Provide training and support to end-users on new technologies and systems



- Monitor and maintain network and server performance



- Ensure data backups and disaster recovery plans are in place and functioning properly



- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new systems and upgrades



- Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities



- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology



Qualifications:



- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field



- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a field support role



- Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking



- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems



- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V



- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills



- Strong communication and interpersonal skills



- Ability to work independently and in a team environment



- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed
