Job Overview

The International Onboarding Specialist plays a vital role in supporting and managing the end-to-end onboarding process for both local and international teaching and non-teaching staff.

  • Onboarding & Recruitment:
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, particularly international teachers and administrators, from offer acceptance to the first day on campus.
    • Coordinate logistics for arrivals including visas, flights, relocation support, and accommodation arrangements.
    • Prepare and issue employment contracts and offer letters in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Organize comprehensive orientation programs in collaboration with campus Principals and Senior Leadership Teams, covering UAE culture, school values, policies, and safeguarding standards.
    • Partner with academic, operations, and IT teams to ensure all system access and credentials are ready for new staff.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure compliance of all staff documentation with MOE and SPEA regulations.
    • Maintain knowledge of teaching qualification criteria and subject-specific requirements.
    • Support visa processing, medical testing, Emirates ID, and qualification attestation processes in liaison with the relevant authorities.
    • Maintain accurate personnel files and HR records for audits and inspections.
    • Support offboarding and renewal procedures ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Employee Experience & Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding and relocation-related queries.
    • E nsure all onboarding processes reflect the school's values, diversity, and inclusive culture.
    • Contribute to employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, particularly for expatriate staff.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams including Payroll, Administration, Facilities Management, and Operations to streamline onboarding.
    • Work closely with PROs and municipal/medical authorities to ensure timely completion of all legal and regulatory steps.
    • Coordinate with IT, Facilities, and Academic teams to ensure readiness before new staff join.
  • Process Development & Continuous Improvement:
    • Develop and maintain standardized onboarding materials and information portals.
    • Identify areas for improvement in onboarding and HR operations to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
    • Track all onboarding stages, ensuring full completion and reporting.
