As part of the global Sunreef Yachts group, we combine advanced engineering, skilled craftsmanship, and international expertise to deliver world-class multihull yachts for clients worldwide.</p> <h4>Position overview</h4> <p>We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to oversee all day-to-day HR processes across our UAE operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in UAE Labour Law, payroll, overtime calculations, visa and immigration processes, and employee lifecycle management. Previous experience working in a Freezone environment and hands-on knowledge of the Odoo HR system are significant advantages.</p> <p>This role ensures compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across HR operations while supporting talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and HR systems.</p> <h4>Requirements</h4> <h4>Key responsibilities</h4> <ol> <li><strong>HR operations & compliance</strong><br> Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law, Freezone regulations, and company policies.<br> Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and SOPs.<br> Manage employee records, contracts, leave management, EOSB, and HR documentation via Odoo and internal systems.<br> Handle all disciplinary procedures in line with legal and company guidelines.</li> <li><strong>Payroll management</strong><br> Oversee monthly payroll preparation and processing.<br> Verify attendance, leaves, deductions, and allowances using Odoo HR modules.<br> Ensure accurate overtime calculation based on UAE Labour Law.<br> Coordinate with Finance for payroll submissions and audits.<br> Manage salary revisions, advances, and final settlements.</li> <li><strong>Visa, immigration & PRO coordination</strong><br> Review and supervise all visa applications.<br> Oversee and coordinate medical test procedures, Emirates ID processing, and residency stamping with PROs.<br> Monitor visa expiries, renewals, cancellations, and compliance with immigration deadlines with PROs.<br> Liaise with Freezone authorities and government portals (MOHRE, ICP, E-channels, etc.).</li> <li><strong>Talent acquisition & recruitment</strong><br> Oversee the end-to-end recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, and selection.<br> Build candidate pipelines and coordinate manpower planning with department heads.<br> Manage job postings through Workable and candidate tracking, and onboarding through Odoo.</li> <li><strong>Employee onboarding & offboarding</strong><br> Lead the onboarding process: contracts, documentation, induction, and system setup.<br> Ensure smooth offboarding: exit interviews, visa cancellations, EOSB, and final settlements.<br> Manage onboarding workflows and checklists via Odoo.</li> <li><strong>HR systems, Odoo & reporting</strong><br> Manage and optimize the use of Odoo HR modules (Payroll, Recruitment, Attendance, Leaves, Documents).<br> Ensure data accuracy and proper workflow setup in Odoo.<br> Prepare HR dashboards, reports, and KPI analyses.<br> Support digital transformation and process automation.</li> <li><strong>Employee relations & support</strong><br> Act as the main point of contact for employee concerns, HR support, and policy inquiries.<br> Support grievance handling, conflict resolution, and performance-related issues.<br> Promote employee engagement and well-being initiatives.</li> </ol> <h4>Qualifications & requirements</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.</li> <li>5–7 years of HR operations experience in the UAE.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, payroll, overtime and EOSB calculations, visa and immigration processes.</li> <li>Experience with Freezone regulations (RAKEZ, DMCC, DAFZA, JAFZA, etc.) is a plus.</li> <li>Previous experience using Odoo (HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Attendance modules) is mandatory or highly preferred.</li> <li>Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy and confidentiality.</li> </ul> <h4>Preferred skills</h4> <ul> <li>Experience in Freezone HR operations.</li> <li>Strong recruitment capabilities.</li> <li>Multilingual skills are a plus.</li> </ul> <h4>Benefits</h4> <ul> <li>Competitive salary package</li> <li>Annual leave in accordance with UAE Labour Law</li> <li>Basic medical insurance</li> <li>Professional development and career growth opportunities</li> <li>Multinational and dynamic working environment</li> <li>Modern, expanding shipyard facilities</li> <li>Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture</li> </ul>
