Equifax is looking for a talented HRBP to support Equifax’s USIS Technology team. The HRBP provides advice, counsel and support in the areas of talent management and development, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement, satisfaction and retention. The position formulates partnerships across Technology and Human Resources to deliver value-added service to employees and managers that align with the business objectives of the Alliance. 

This position reports to the Senior HR Director for USIS Technology and is located in our Alpharetta, GA office. This position is in office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as a primary trusted HRBP to several segment leaders within the Alliance.

  • Establish and maintain relationships within the USIS Technology team to facilitate the success of group’s goals

  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on issues related to all areas of human resources management including employee relations, performance management, diversity & inclusion, development, engagement, retention, and company policies.

  • Provide performance management guidance to managers (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Researches, prepares for, and advises on matters pertaining performance improvement plans.

  • Provide talent management guidance to managers. Facilitates talent discussions including potential assessment and succession planning.

  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations, including proper documentation. 

  • Actively guide managers and employees through organizational development, change initiatives, and other projects, including communication strategy, impact analysis, and risk mitigation.

  • Partner with Human Resources Centers of Excellence to effectively manage all aspects of the employment life cycle including, but not limited to talent acquisition, on-boarding, learning and development, rewards and recognition, and off-boarding. 

  • Conduct exit interviews to gain understanding of and feedback related to the employee exit experience. Compile measurable data relevant to turnover and attrition. Analyze exit data to identify trends and address areas of potential concern.

  • Review, research and analyze employee engagement survey results and other trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop, implement and support strategy and programs to improve employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.

  • Manage mandatory training compliance.

  • Participate in HR cross-functional and technical projects. Implement standardized HR processes.

  • Facilitate communication between employees and/or among employees and management. Use a fair and objective perspective to guide others through problem-solving and conflict resolution processes.

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity.

  • Assist with and/or lead development, coordination, support, and implementation of HR initiatives.

  • Provide input and feedback that enhances the delivery of existing programs.

  • Provide input and support to HR leadership and outside counsel responding to external employment claims

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of personal, medical and proprietary information

  • All other duties as assigned.

What experience you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in the human resources field

  • Employee relations experience

  • HR experience supporting a technology organization

  • SHRM-CP Certification or PHR certification

  • Self-motivated, conscientious, demonstrates initiative, accountability and ownership of work and outcomes

  • Facilitation experience delivering training to large groups, both virtually and in person

  • Ability to listen to individual and business needs; identify, evaluate, and implement solutions

  • Ability to build strong relationships and provide excellent customer service

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly present complex information

  • Demonstrated ability to calmly de-escalate emotional situations

  • Advanced presentation and spreadsheet skills. Equifax uses Google Workspace (Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, Google Meet, Google Chat). Previous experience with Google Workspace is a plus

  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to approach sensitive issues with empathy

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and influence others
