Job Summary
The House Mom plays a vital role in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals. This position involves overseeing daily activities, ensuring the well-being of residents, and fostering a sense of community within the household. The House Mom will work closely with all other staff members and promote independence among residents.

Duties

  • Provide compassionate care and support to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management.
  • Observe and document residents' behaviors and health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate professionals.
  • Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with Executive Director.
  • Facilitate recreational activities that promote social interaction and personal development.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for all residents.
  • Provide first aid as needed and respond effectively to emergencies.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in observation and care.
  • Ability to assist in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Certification in First Aid is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to enforcing boundaries and rules of the program.

This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others while providing essential support in a residential setting.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
