We seek to grow via both organic means and acquisitions, and have completed more than 20 acquisitions in the past 10 years. </p><p><b>Role profile: </b> </p><p><b>This role will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational direction of mobile/web applications and IoT platforms. </b> </p><p>You will lead the technical vision and architecture for our app and IoT ecosystem ensuring that scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions are delivered in alignment across our diverse portfolio of brands. </p><p><b>Key responsibilities will include: </b> </p><ul><li><b>Platform Strategy: </b> Define and evolve the Group App & IoT Framework—ensuring it supports modularity, reuse, and long-term scalability </li><li><b>Ecosystem Architecture: </b> Design a cohesive digital ecosystem that integrates apps, connected devices, and data services across brands </li><li><b>Cross-Functional Collaboration: </b> Partner with local product managers, engineering teams, and commercial leads to align technical delivery with market requirements </li><li><b>Entrepreneurial Execution: </b> Take initiative, identify opportunities, and roll up your sleeves to prototype, troubleshoot, or accelerate delivery when needed </li><li><b>Stakeholder Engagement: </b> Influence and coordinate across business units to ensure the platform delivers value and meets customer needs </li><li><b>Developer Enablement: </b> Shape the internal developer experience—tooling, APIs, documentation, and support </li><li><b>Data Integration: </b> Collaborate with data teams to ensure digital products are insight-rich and future-ready </li><li><b>Collaboration: </b> Contribute to the Group Engineering Leadership Team, and mentor cross-functional colleagues </li> </ul><p><b>To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following skills and experience: </b> </p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred </li><li>8- 10 years of relevant experience within software or platform engineering, with deep experience in app ecosystems and IoT </li><li>A strong track record of delivering complex digital platforms in a matrixed or multi-brand environment </li><li>Strong analytical and decision-making ability </li><li>Passion for innovation and user-centric design </li><li>Experience working closely with product management and commercial teams to align technical delivery with business goals </li><li>A builder’s mindset—proactive, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity </li><li>Deep understanding of platform architecture, developer experience, and service design </li><li>Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills </li><li>Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization </li> </ul><p><b>You can learn more about us here; </b> </p>
