We believe in the power of clear, impactful communication to drive success and foster strong relationships with all our partners - our colleagues, customers, suppliers, and the communities in which we operate.</p><p>We are currently recruiting for a Group Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure Senior Manager who will be driving the Hilton Foods sustainability reporting and disclosure strategy and delivery for the group. Ensure the business maintains a best-in-class reputation with shareholders and stakeholders. Ensure the group meets its legislative, regulatory requirements and horizon scan for future needs. This role is critical in ensuring that Hilton Foods meets its sustainability goals, legislative requirements and communicates its progress transparently to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, sustainability reporting, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.</p><p><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</b></p><p><b>Strategy</b></p><ul><li>Develop and Implement Reporting Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of sustainability reporting strategies that align with Hilton Foods’ sustainability goals and objectives.</li><li>Responsible for the Hilton Foods Sustainability Report, Sustainability section of the annual report and our CSRD report.</li><li>Support the development and execution of our sustainable protein plan and report progress against targets</li><li>Be the “go to” expert on reporting requirements and ensure senior management are aware of mandatory and evolving shareholder, regulatory and legislative reporting requirements</li><li>Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive sustainability reports, including annual sustainability reports, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) disclosures, and other relevant documentation.</li><li>Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, address concerns, and communicate sustainability performance.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in sustainability reporting processes and practices.</li><li>Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 4 sustainability professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. This role will include managing a team of four direct reports.</li><li>Ensure all policies are up to date and meet the evolving needs of the organisation both in terms of mandatory requirements and investor expectations</li><li>Managing the timeline and execution of all our reporting and disclosure requirements</li></ul><p><b>Data</b></p><ul><li>Operating and developing sustainability systems, that will accurately demonstrate compliance against our strategy, current and impending legislation</li><li>Identify data requirements for reporting and delivering best practice. Provide solutions to ensure data collection is as efficient as possible</li><li>Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of sustainability data to ensure accuracy and reliability.</li></ul><p><b>Reporting</b></p><ul><li>Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability reporting standards and frameworks, such as TCFD, TNFD, SBT, SBTN, CSRD & ESRS, CDP (Climate, Water and Forests), S&P,ISS, etc. This will be supported by a natural work team for each disclosure. Lead sustainability reporting and report against frameworks</li><li>Support customer specific reporting such as greenhouse gas emissions, energy use, food waste, soy reporting</li><li>Be responsible for the co-ordination of the site-specific reporting against the sustainable protein plan</li><li>Co-ordinate our monthly reporting to senior leaders</li><li>Managing relationship with audit bodies and ensuring audit compliance in relevant disclosures as we move towards auditable reporting</li><li>Constantly understanding the evolution of external benchmarks and challenge the subject matter experts to meet new and existing targets</li></ul><p><b>Communications</b></p><ul><li>Support with shareholder communication and updates</li><li>Support with communication and data provision to the wider business</li></ul><p><b>KEY EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</b></p><ul><li>A degree level qualification or equivalent in relevant numerical subject</li><li>Accounting qualification or background in data evaluation</li><li>Sustainability reporting experience is desirable</li><li>Experience of policy and procedure development is desirable</li><li>Management experience is desired</li><li>Understanding of compliance to standards/legislation</li><li>Global experience is valuable</li></ul>
