We are looking for assistance this fall in Golf Operations. The Quechee Club is home to two of the best private Championship golf courses in Vermont. With beautiful grounds and dedicated, professional staff, we strive to ensure our Members have the best experience possible when visiting the Club.

The Golf Course Operations is one of the most visible positions of the facility. This position is tasked assisting with directing the flow of traffic on the course, enforcing facility rules, assisting customers with course etiquette, alerting management to any golf course problems, promoting the facility and its events and assisting players with any on-course problems. This position will cover where needed, not limited to ranger/starter/bag room and possibly in our retail Golf Shop. Due to the nature of the position, the Player Assistant/Ranger must be pleasant, but firm at the same time.

Job Requirements:

  • Golf knowledge and an understanding of golf etiquette.
  • Golf equipment and supplies and their uses.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing personality.
  • Professional Conduct and grooming.
  • CPR Certified. If not, training will be provided.

Ability to:

  • Promote an atmosphere of positive customer service, making every effort to ensure that individuals enjoy their golfing experience.
  • Learn and interpret club policies, rules and regulations of the facility.
  • Effectively communicate with members and guests.
  • Resolving complaints and problems in a tactful and non-threatening manner.
  • Keep clerical records and prepare routine reports.
  • Work safely and cooperatively with other TQC employees.
  • Works a varied schedule to include weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate will be kind, courteous and friendly. Always maintain a friendly attitude.
