Are you a detailed, focused, and dependable person who loves to work on a team fabricating and installing on different job sites then we have the perfect job opening for you!!! In this position you will be working on some of NYC SKYLINE and LANDMARK buildings to achieve the ultimate finished project and add to the beauty of the city.

Requirements:

  • Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions using precision tools and equipment. Install and secure glass panels, windows, doors, and other glass components using appropriate techniques and materials.
  • Fabricate and install aluminum and metal framing systems to hold glass panels in place. Remove old or broken glass and prepare surfaces for new installations.
  • Apply weather seals, caulking, and other sealants to ensure water and air tightness.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure accurate and timely execution of glass-related tasks.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials. Operate machinery and equipment such as glass cutters, drills, grinders, and lift equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform repairs and replacements on existing glass structures as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and hours worked on each project.
  • Provide exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail to ensure the final glass installations meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, new techniques, and materials to continuously improve your skills and stay competitive in the field.
