We are looking for a General Manager, Singapore to own the full P&L, strategy and execution of YouTrip in Singapore. 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of YouTrip, this will be an exciting and rare opportunity for candidates with strong entrepreneurial spirit to work closely with the C-Suite & Leadership team to grow our home marketing in Singapore.

You Will

  • Lead and own the business growth and P&L of YouTrip and YouBiz in Singapore with the key objective to drive revenue, profit and other key operating metrics, through the ownership strategic roadmap of the business
  • Own the product roadmap for Singapore together with Product & Engineering to identify big bets and optimization opportunities
  • Drive business growth by leading bespoke marketing campaigns and striking marquee partnership deals
  • Lead new sales and business development opportunities in both B2C and B2B space, including partnership development, business negotiations, and other areas as necessary
  • Optimize the operations setup especially Customer Services and improve response time and CSAT
  • Navigate local regulatory & compliance landscape with Legal & Compliance team and engage with internal and external authorities & stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of the fintech landscape in Singapore and constantly identify new business growth opportunities
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing local leadership team
  • Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of YouTrip, identify and drive cross-functional and/or cross-country initiatives for business growth

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial Self-starter & Hustler - You are not afraid to get your hands dirty with a "whatever it takes" mindset and no job is too little for you. You strive for the best in everything you do, and understand the importance to influence your team to do the same to push for performance in a high paced environment
  • Experienced Commercial Leader - You have at least 10 years of senior team leadership roles in a fast-paced environment, and proven track record in multiplying business revenues. Experience in Consumer Products and/or Marketing in Singapore are preferred. Experience in Fintech or Financial Institutions space (B2C and/or B2B) will be a strong plus.
  • Consumer Behavior Expert - You may not come from a research background but you believe in your instinct on consumer preferences in Singapore and are willing to justify your thoughts, to localize our product and GTM strategy in Singapore
  • Passionate B2B Product Owner — You possess a strong business acumen in the B2B space, and understand the process to discover pain points and develop solutions for business owners. Ideally, you have prior experience in a B2B fintech or SaaS company.
  • Hyper-analytical Thinker - You have deep understanding of numbers and metrics, and are experienced in producing analytical insights on business performance and setting meaningful targets for different business teams. Experience in Marketing analytics is highly preferred
  • Excellent and Transparent Communicator - You can communicate clearly and structurally, and be able to produce analytically written and presentation for external and internal audiences. You are an open and transparent communicator, and are not afraid to speak your mind
  • Travel and Payment Enthusiast - Nothing is more important than being passionate about the industry that we will be about to build together!
