Future Leaders Technology Programme Join our -month Future Leaders Technology Programme, designed to fast-track the careers of exceptional graduates with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for technology and finance. Participants will rotate through various technology and business functions and engage in a month-long offsite training at a key IG location, gaining insights into our industry-leading products and connecting with senior leaders. This program aims to develop tomorrow\'s technology leaders today. With mentorship and development workshops, you will cultivate the skills needed to become impactful leaders in the industry. What you’ll gain In this role, you will enhance your engineering expertise by applying best practices across a diverse range of technologies and applications. You\'ll gain valuable experience in project and product delivery while developing your technical leadership and mentoring skills. Additionally, you\'ll deepen your understanding of IG’s client and business and regulatory compliance, all while fostering collaboration and stakeholder management. What you’ll be doing: Actively participate in a one-month offsite training programme to gain insight into our products, services, business model, purpose, strategy, and leadership behaviours. Engage in rotational assignments across various departments to gain a holistic understanding of technology and business. Contribute to global strategic initiatives. Undertake curated off-the-job training throughout the -month programme to gain essential commercial and leadership skills. Collaborate with other future leader programme participants globally, senior leaders, and mentors to foster professional growth and development. Who we look for We look for recent (or soon-to-be) graduates with an excellent track record of individual achievement – who are interested in a challenging, exciting career in the fintech sector. You will need to have an understanding of technology and programming, but also ability to understand how it aligns with other business processes and strategies. Working at IG Group requires commercial awareness, adaptability and resilience – and you will need to thrive in team environments as well as take initiative independently. What you’ll need for this role: Completed your university studies in under three years of applying and able to commence the role in September Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, math, or related fields Programming skills and knowledge of modern software development frameworks and tools (an understanding of Java is preferred but not essential) Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges. A passion for innovation, continuous learning, and staying abreast of industry trends. Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions Professional experience gained during or after your studies (work, internships, student societies). Entrepreneurial mindset with a keen interest in financial markets and technology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
