NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. The Financial Analyst role involves support and analysis for Global Free Cash Flow and Overhead forecasting, budgeting, and consolidation processes, as well as managing relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute all process elements supporting Global Free Cash Flow and Global Overhead forecasts, budget planning, and detailed variance analyses
  • Perform weekly and monthly actualization processes using various systems (SAP, AOE, ECLIPSE, etc.)
  • Narrate and present financial results to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Reconcile financial data from 3rd‑party distribution partners to the NBCU SAP system
  • Create and perform systemic checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Understand system processes and initiate ideas to streamline existing workflows
  • Build collaborative relationships with core team members and the broader finance organization
  • Utilize AI and other technology tools to optimize workload efficiency
  • Support various ad hoc initiatives and projects (e.g., synergies between domestic/international ad physical/digital processes, Power BI, Copilot/ChatGPT, etc.)

Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience of financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting
  • Solid organizational, and PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills) and working knowledge of SAP, AoE/BPC, or Essbase
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Solid finance and accounting skills, excellent analytical abilities, outstanding process improvement capabilities, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of accounting principles: accruals, revenue and cost recognition
  • Experience working with and mining large amounts of data and streamlining processes
  • Effectively handle sensitive and confidential matters
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Interest in entertainment finance
  • Media/Entertainment experience
