In this role, you will manage client relationships and drive sales within the retail channel, specifically focusing on bank firms and PIMCO's full suite of PIMCO products. <br><br>You will manage a territory of Financial Advisors, introducing PIMCO's diverse investment strategies and building strong, results-oriented relationships. Key responsibilities include providing insights on performance attribution, market performance, and macroeconomic conditions, while communicating the firm's outlook and strategic direction. Additionally, you will develop tailored investment objectives for clients and educate them on a comprehensive array of investment strategies, products, and services.<br><br>The successful candidate will possess superior consultative and relationship-building skills, along with a deep understanding of fixed income and alternative strategies. <br><br>This role requires regular travel. <br><br><b>Primary Responsibilities </b><br><ul><li>Drive sales across PIMCO's full range of investment solutions (Alts, Mutual Funds, ETFs, SMAs) by developing, maintaining, and deepening relationships with new and existing advisors through a consultative sales approach.</li><li>Maintain an active presence with key decision makers in the target market, conducting client events, group presentations, continuing education, and training sessions.</li><li>Build and nurture relationships with senior individuals within client organizations to identify opportunities across PIMCO's investment offerings.</li><li>Share client and sales insights, as well as best practices, to contribute to the broader team and firm success.</li><li>Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of PIMCO's products, platforms, market themes, strategies, policies, as well as those of its clients.</li><li>Ensure the highest level of compliance with all industry regulations and PIMCO policies.</li><li>Maximize territory performance by achieving and exceeding net and gross sale and activity goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.</li><li>Partner with PIMCO management to develop and execute a strategic territory business plan focused on long-term growth and consultative selling.</li><li>Execute the PIMCO Canada business plan with precision.</li><li>Leverage firm resources, such as partnering with PIMCO product and portfolio managers, to generate new revenue sources and expand existing business relationships.</li><li>Schedule, conduct, and follow-up on activities, including group sessions, one-on-one meetings, and educational seminars.</li><li>Cultivate strong relationships with PIMCO's dealer group and platform partners.</li><li>Represent PIMCO at national, regional, and local conferences and training events as needed.</li><li>Provide feedback to PIMCO management on product demand, sales trends, and client satisfaction.</li><li>Pursue personal and professional educational opportunities sponsored by PIMCO.</li></ul><br><br><b>Position Requirements </b><br><ul><li>Minimum of a bachelor's degree required; CIMA, CAIA, CFA designations and/or MBA a plus.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in an ETF or mutual fund wholesaler with a strong network of established relationships and expertise in the bank channel within the Quebec City market.</li><li>Proven success in territory management with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.</li><li>Deep investment acumen and a passion for financial markets, fixed income, and investing; knowledge of alternative investments is highly desirable.</li><li>Exceptional client engagement skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships.</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commitment to client service and excellence, along with the ability to develop and deepen client relationships.</li><li>Strong understanding of investment trends and advisor best practices.</li><li>Ability to contribute to and execute group strategy effectively.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of PIMCO products and ability to present them consultatively based on client needs.</li></ul><br><br><b>Professional Skills Requirements </b><br><ul><li><b>Relationship-Building</b>: Proven ability to establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
