Could this be you? </p><p>If so, we want to hear from you. </p><p>Purpose of Role: </p><ul><li>The EMS Senior Project Manager is responsible to support the EMS Delivery and Transformation Programme Manager, be a delegate for the EMS Delivery & Transformation Manager and supporting governance, development, delivery and day-today management of the EMS programme <br></li><li>Expected to support, coach and mentor less senior EMS Project Managers and demonstrate and promote project processes<br></li><li>Responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of technical and business change within our EMS ecosystem (comprising our digital core, interfaces and associated peripheral applications)<br></li><li>This role generally oversees larger and higher-priority projects within the EMS portfolio, ensuring their delivery meets exceptional standards through a consistent and standardised approach, and aligns with Harbour Energy\'s project delivery framework and IT architecture standards.<br></li><li>Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders, cross functional teams and supplier resources in the EMS space. </li> </ul><p>Critical Responsibilities: </p><p>Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner, complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSEQ procedures </p><p>Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities: </p><p>Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy\'s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required. </p><p>Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence: </p><ul><li>Is responsible for leading and coordinating activities related to the EMS Programme within the IS Portfolio, acting as the delegate for the EMS Delivery and Transformation Programme Manager when required.<br></li><li>Working largely independently of the EMS Delivery & Transformation Manager, support the leadership, development, delivery and day-today management of the EMS Programme <br></li><li>Supports, coaches and mentors less senior EMS Project Managers on their tasks and projects, including ensuring adherence to the IS project delivery framework & ensuring governance is consistently maintained <br></li><li>Demonstrates and promotes EMS project processes, to the wider EMS project team, as well as to the business all Business Units. Acts as a marketer of IS strategy as well as IS project delivery framework & governance practices <br></li><li>Under minimal direction, leads own project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for EMS projects, which will typically be the more significant and business critical projects within the EMs portfolio.<br></li><li>Works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure scope and requirements are accurate and captured in the appropriate project deliverables<br></li><li>Determines, monitors, and reviews all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, resourcing requirements, and risks </li><li>Contributes to project estimation process for budget and resourcing across Harbour Energy suppliers and technical teams<br></li><li>Monitors and reports the progress and status of their EMS project activities, including supplier performance<br></li><li>Proactively ensures adherence to regulatory and company standards, in particular ensuring changes delivered within our EMS ecosystem support Harbour Energy\'s governance, risk and controls framework<br></li><li>Proactively controls project risks and issues taking appropriate steps to escalate challenges with the appropriate IS and business stakeholders<br></li><li>Ensures technical change is implemented following Harbour Energy\'s change control process, supported with high quality change communications<br></li><li>Supports the Portfolio and Demand team in their execution of the annual demand request process<br></li><li>Maintains a very good level of awareness on emerging EMS technologies, solutions and services </li> </ul><p>Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.: </p><ul><li>Significant experience of successfully managing EMS related projects<br></li><li>Demonstrable experience of managing IS technical and supplier teams in a cross functional organisation<br></li><li>Very strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate the project objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with IS and business strategy<br></li><li>Strong and effectual verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and \"sell\" the programme goals and objectives to the stakeholders and to technical leadership<br></li><li>Strong business acumen, including industry and domain-specific knowledge of the organisation and its business units.
