Description
Keystone is looking for a Director of Hauling Operations for a start-up hauling operation based out of our Burgettstown, PA location, with planned future expansion into West Virginia and Ohio markets.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to build, scale, and lead a growing hauling division from the ground up. The Director will oversee all aspects of hauling operations including customer management, driver oversight, dispatch performance, fleet maintenance, mechanical operations, regulatory compliance, and overall operational efficiency. This leader will play a critical role in establishing systems, building teams, driving profitability, and positioning Keystone as a premier hauling partner in the region.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily water hauling operations and fleet performance
  • Build and scale hauling operations across PA, WV, and OH
  • Lead customer relationship management and ensure high service standards
  • Supervise drivers, dispatch personnel, mechanics, and support staff
  • Ensure DOT, state, and federal compliance across all hauling activities
  • Oversee truck maintenance, repair strategy, and fleet procurement
  • Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, efficiency, utilization, and cost control
  • Develop operational processes and performance standards
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives
  • Respond to and manage transportation-related incidents and emergencies

Requirements
Required:
  • 10+ years of water hauling management experience
  • Strong knowledge of DOT, transportation, and environmental regulations
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Experience improving operational processes and scaling operations
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel to operational locations as needed
Preferred:
  • CDL license
  • Experience launching or expanding multi-state hauling operations
