Project Overview

I need an experienced data specialist to clean, dedupe, standardize, and enrich a contact database of approximately 20,000 corporate contacts currently stored in Salesforce and Google Sheets. This database will be used for targeted B2B outreach and requires meticulous attention to detail.

Scope of Work

Phase 1: Data Cleaning & Standardization

◦ Deduplicate ~20,000 contacts across Salesforce and Google Sheets

◦ Standardize contact information (names, titles, company names, emails)

◦ Merge duplicate records while preserving the most accurate and complete information

◦ Verify and validate email addresses using ZeroBounce or similar email verification service

Phase 2: Financial Services Data Enrichment

◦ Research and update corporate details for key contacts at financial services firms, including:

◦ Current branch/office locations

◦ Division affiliations

◦ Line of business (LOB) assignments

◦ Organizational structure updates

Source information from company websites, LinkedIn, industry websites, and other reliable public sources

Phase 3: Bounce Management & Final Cleanup

◦ Review ZeroBounce results and address bounced/invalid emails

◦ Perform secondary research to find updated contact information for bounced emails

◦ Final quality assurance pass on the complete database

Required Qualifications

Must Have:

Proven experience with large-scale data cleaning and CRM management (Salesforce experience required)

Strong understanding of financial services industry structure, including:

◦ Banks, wealth management firms, broker-dealers

◦ How multi-line businesses are organized (retail banking, commercial banking, wealth management, etc.)

◦ Branch/regional office hierarchies

◦ Division and business unit structures

◦ Proficiency with data verification tools (ZeroBounce or similar platforms)

◦ Advanced skills in Google Sheets and data manipulation

◦ Excellent web research skills

◦ High attention to detail and data accuracy

◦ US location, English fluency

Nice to Have:

◦ Experience with data enrichment platforms (ZoomInfo, Apollo, etc.)

◦ Background in financial services or B2B database management

◦ Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets formulas and functions for data manipulation

◦ Fully deduped and standardized contact database
