A leading creative sign-making company is seeking a proactive Online Sales Advisor / Office Administrator to join our friendly office team based in North London.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a busy office or manufacturing administrative role. You’ll be highly organised with excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. The role involves handling customer enquiries, processing online orders, and managing general office administration, so attention to detail and a professional approach are essential.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Processing online orders across multiple platforms. Two company E-commerce websites, Etsy, Not on the High Street, eBay and dealing with the enquiries that come through these avenues.
  • A busy sales enquiries inbox – answering customer enquiries
  • Customer service – Customers are the backbone to our business and we aim to provide the very best service possible. Responding swiftly to enquiries and dealing with any issues that arise and responding to customer complaints.
  • Ordering: day to day consumables and adhoc items.
  • Answering phones and relaying messages to the team
  • Digital and paper filing – maintaining current systems and creating new ones if required.
  • Booking adhoc couriers – using multiple courier platforms
  • Meeting minutes – taking minutes at weekly meetings and sending follow up actions via email.
  • Report management
  • Facilities management - making sure kitchen and bathroom facilities are well stocked at all times.
  • Administrative support to the directors and general manager

Key qualifications required:

  • Language: Fluent in both written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar administrative role is a mandatory requirement.
  • Customer service: the successful applicant must have an excellent level of customer service skill and experience.
  • Industry background: While not obligatory, prior experience in a related industry is highly valued, as it demonstrates an understanding of the nuances and challenges within our sector.
  • Software: Good working knowledge of Apple Macs and Microsoft software, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel.

Salary dependent on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
