The salary for this post is £6,552 per annum (all salaries at Cairn are under a standard benchmarking review and could be subject to change in April 2026)

We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic Cleaner to help maintain a welcoming and hygienic environment within Tom Matheson Court. Confidentiality and respect for our tenants are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities - What You'll Do:

  • Interact professionally with all tenants, visitors and staff.
  • Ensure any concerns with tenants/visitors are raised promptly with the Court-Coordinator / Housing Officer.
  • Deliver and maintain a high level of cleanliness within the Court.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies used and advise Court-Coordinator / Housing Officer when goods need to be replenished.
  • Ensure any equipment used is correctly maintained/stored.
  • Ensure any cleaning products/chemicals are used and stored correctly.

Requirements - What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning role and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • General IT literacy and a basic understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office packages (desirable).
  • A basic disclosure check and right-to-work verification are required for this role.
