Cabin Appearance Engineer - Aviation Maintenance - Sharjah, UAE Position Overview Air Arabia PJSC is hiring a Cabin Appearance Engineer to perform and supervise base-level cabin appearance maintenance tasks on Airbus A320 and third-party aircraft in Sharjah. The role ensures that all maintenance work is completed, certified, and documented in line with regulatory standards, while maintaining efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Job Details Location: UAE Location: Sharjah Industry: Aviation Function: Maintenance / Engineering Salary: 18000-22000 monthly (Market estimated) Gender: Any Candidate Nationality: Any Job Type: Full-time Core Duties * Review task cards and plan cabin appearance maintenance activities in line with standards and documentation requirements. * Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and defect rectification for cabin appearance components. * Test and inspect components to identify and record defects or damage according to approved procedures. * Sign off maintenance tasks within authorized scope, ensuring accurate documentation. * Supervise technicians, provide guidance, and ensure safe execution of non-certifying maintenance tasks. * Coordinate with engineers and technicians to ensure continuity and proper handover of work. * Ensure safety protocols and protective equipment are followed during maintenance. * Minimize waste and optimize the use of time, materials, and consumables to reduce costs. * Represent Air Arabia professionally when interacting with crew, customers, and external parties. Ideal Profile * Aeronautical diploma or equivalent with an Aircraft Maintenance License (Airbus A320 experience required). * Eligibility to obtain an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 Category License. * Minimum 1 year of experience certifying Airbus A320 maintenance and at least 4 years in base workshop maintenance. * Strong technical maintenance knowledge. * Good written and spoken English for technical communication. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related computer tools. * Ability to obtain a UAE driving license.
