Responsibilities

To establish a strong DBS franchise in the local market through delivering the bank's business vision and strategies while embracing exceptional execution of sales acquisition, portfolio management, and customer service
To establish a strong relationship with local authorities and ensure operational policy compliance
To represent DBS to the external parties
The establishment of DBS franchise in the respective area
Set specific job goals for the staff and implement regular supervision on the progress of sales acquisition initiatives by Relationship Manager (TL / TRM / RM) and Direct Sales (TDM / TFO)
Ensure the professionalism of the staff in delivering excellent services to customers in order to increase and maintain the branch's overall image and achieving the targeted score of overall customer satisfaction rating
Encourage team work and open communication & maintain the harmony and synergy between sales team and service team by setting clear guidelines to ensure smooth work flow / processing
Ensure all staffs are fully equipped with the necessary skills (such as: selling techniques, communication skills, etc) by planning and proposing suitable trainings and courses
Ensure strict compliance (i.e. zero audit findings) by all team members to policies and procedures of the bank and external authorities (BI and MAS). These include but not limited to KYC, Black list search, FNA, etc
Ensure the implementation of sales process frame work amongst the team to ensure there are no miss-selling incident
Maintain strong relationship with branch team: apply, monitor and do periodic review of sales productivity. In addition, provide motivation and counselling as needed

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Experience in the banking and finance industry would be an advantage
Sound understanding in banking products especially Bancassurance, Investment and Treasury products
Possess relevant certification in various wealth management products would be an advantage
Good understanding in application of key principles of sales (sales management) and leadership
Good motivational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
Good understanding in applying principle of Know Your Customer and Anti Money Laundering
Excellent written and verbal English
